Bondage of the Will

Pose a comment or question. These are confusing times. Let’s figure out together what the Bible actually says and how to apply it. Expect polite give and take.

Bondage of the Will

Postby ehart on Fri Nov 16, 2007 8:33 pm

I've been reading Martin Luther's Bondage of the Will. Has anyone else read it or is willing to read it? It's over my head in many places but I'm willing to discuss if anyone else is interested.

Is our will in bondage as Luther is so certain of? Did God create Adam and Eve with free will and they blew it? Or was the will of man always in bondage? Or has the will of man never been in bondage as Erasmus claimed?

Thoughts?
