Jezebel: Did the Bible’s bad girl get a bad rap?

Postby chip on Sat Dec 15, 2007 5:47 am

“She was a magnificent, proud, powerful queen of Israel,” said Hazleton, author of the recently released book, Jezebel: The Untold Story of the Bible’s Harlot Queen. “She was anything but the harlot and the slut of legend.”

Don't these academics have anything better to do? Judas was a good, misunderstood guy so now I guess it's Jezebel's turn. Whose left after these two? Maybe Pharaoh was right and the Children of Abraham should have submitted to his and Egypt's gracious hospitality.
