Merry Christmas to all. We just had a baby boy. It makes this holiday come more alive. I hope everyone is well.

Unto us a child is born.
Praise God Jesus was a child like you and I were. He was born of a woman.

Unto us a son is given.
He isn't just Jesus the man but the "messiah". He was "given", given from heaven. The Christ Jesus was promised long ago. He fulfills prophecy as some others have in the Bible. He did miracles and spoke as a prophet. He is the hope of the nations.

The government shall be on his soulders.
Some people were prohesied in the Bible before their birth. John the Baptist and Josiah were. But Jesus was the only one born of a virgin. He is Lord. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord of all. He is God wrapped in human flesh; what a present.

Jesus Christ the Lord is worthy to be praised today. Humility and Glory were wrapped in a blanket as the shepherds adored him. Let's do the same today and share the news that the Lord Jesus Christ is born!
