Merry Christmas

Postby chip on Mon Dec 24, 2007 5:22 pm

Beaconites,

Our family wishes all of you a Merry Christmas. What a special time of the year. The theme for this season is duel: long-awaited hope fulfilled and miracles happen. That's my prayer for all of you. God promised a savior long ago. The world travailed for that hope. It arrived wrapped in human clothing 2000 years ago. A virgin gave birth to a son, and the world had had hope fulfilled since. Find a humble, loving, exciting way to share that good news with others. You have an indescribable light about you even in your darkest times. Think of the humble estate our savior was born in, but think of the glorious estate from which he came. He stepped down to bring us up; that's the mega-blessing of the season!

On a light note, my little daughter is the biggest diva I ever met. She wanted a "pink" Christmas tree. Her mother got her one and it matches her pink sunglasses. (Guess what her favorite color is). Santa should be bringing her a pink tricycle. I hope he delivers.

God bless you all. Share the joy and love. Be extra prayerful for blue people through this season. Your gentle presence can warm their hurting hearts.

May all your Christmases be "pink".
Love, chip.

Thank you Chip. The realities of Christmas in the Kershner household precluded me from getting to this site from 12/23 until now. I pray you all had a Merry Christmas filled with God's light, love, and fueled by the majesty of the Incarnation. May your new year be brightly lit by the continued presence of the Light of the World.
