Louise

We actually do pray here. How can we pray for you?

I'll be praying for strength for her, as well as a miracle.

Louise has made her final preparations "just in case." She has also learned that no matter how long she has left, she will spend it on chemo. That includes six months, a year, five, ten or 50 years.

Weez is in the hospital on a morphine drip. Tests indicate that the primary tumor has shrunk but she is in considerable pain on her right side. We're praying it has not gone into a kidney or other major organ.

Keep those miracle prayers going loud and long. We're ready.

I'm on the phone with Louise's best friend right now. Louise finished chemo this past week and had a PET scan. The cancer is now in her bones. She's been given 3 months to a year. There's another chemo they want to try but Louise isn't sure she wants to even try at this point. Also her son needs to have follow-up surgery on his knee later this month.

Two weeks after her last chemo treatment, Louise was put in the hospital with fluid on the lungs and the tumors growing again. She was there for four days, home for two and is now in the hospital with pneumonia. When she goes home again, hospice will be set up for her.

The cancer is now in her brain and is active in her lungs along with the pneumonia. She has a touch of the flu as well. She has been given two weeks but she hasn't been told the latest test results.

Her husband is putting up Christmas lights and the family is debating about when to put the Christmas tree up.

Praying for a peaceful passage.

Continued prayers as you mourn for the loss and celebrate Louise's life. Somehow, someway I pray the family sees God's light in the midst of this dark time.

Someday it will all make sense. Blessings chip.
