Today in Maryville IL a pastor was shot to death either during the first morning service or between the first and second service. Pray Pastor Fred Winters family and the First Baptist Maryville family.

Two of the men of the church apprehended the shooter and one of them along with the shooter is in the hospital.

Prayers for all.

We don't know anything about the "why" yet. There can't be a rational explanation. But... with the angst in the world there are a lot of people who are angry at God, angry at the church and angry at pastors for the pain they are going through. As one pastor said, when things were going good, they couldn't be bothered with God. Now things are going bad (sic) and they are all mad. (speaking of members of his church).
We are living in interesting times!
And Jesus is still so good!
