Tim and Patti Long

We would love to help. Some folks may even contribute prayer, work and money. Let us know how we can build the kingdom together.

New Year's greetings from Patti, Tim and Daniel.

We're using this forum of group e-mail to wish you "un próspero año nuevo" and to fill you in on some of the Long family happenings. You should also be receiving our journals sent through International Ministries. Thanks for taking a look at them.

Tomorrow we are off to La Paz in southern Baja for our annual gathering with missionary colleagues who also serve on this Baja Peninsula. It's an annual event, this retreat, that has always taken place in our neck of the desert, northern Baja or San Diego. This year though we'll be joining David, Joyce, Ian and Aaron Reed in Baja Sur. Not a bad place to spend New Year's!

April 27, 2008 is the big day for Rebekah. She and George Torres will be exchanging vows that day. George is a computer technician and Rebekah continues as a Nurse Practitioner in the office of a neurologist.

On November 21 we became grandparents! ; Caedmon James Sladewas born to Anna and Tim. Grandma Patti has already made one trip to North Carolina shortly after his birth and Grandpa Tim gets his first visit come January. We'd include a picture or two with this e-mail but such is not permitted with this type of multiple mailing. (Of course, if you'd like a picture we do have a few and they are all set to be clicked to anyone's address...)

Aaron and Lindsay continue their busy lives in television and fashion design. Burbank will probably be their home for some time. They, along with their cat, Dolce, and dog, Niko, are anxiously awaiting the closing on the purchase of their first home -- a newly remodeled condo.

Daniel will be graduating high school come June. Then he'll enter into a transition program at the same High School. Nineteen years old in February, wow! That means he will be performing in his last Christian Youth Theater play this winter. "Snoopy" will close out almost ten years of plays for him; he has been in over 20 productions, truly a wonderful experience.

Wishing you the best as 2008 nears,

Patti, Tim and Daniel
