We have prayer meeting tomorrow afternoon. These are some powerhouse intercessors. If anyone else has prayer concerns, don't be afraid to chuck them our way.
I just appreciate your transparency JK. You mean it's ok to hurt?

I pray you hurt less but thank God I'm not the only one who hurts too.
I am talking about the mount of transfiguration this Sunday. I have had several weeping jags as I prepare. I am following the purpose of Jesus' footprints up and down mountains and it pains my heart.
1+3=7
Jesus takes the 3 up and they see Moses and Elijah and hear the Father speak. Peter would stay up that Mt. of Glory but Jesus goes down to the Valley of Need where he will take Barabbas' place and meet with Herod and Pilate. He then goes up the Mt. of Death where there will be no lords of law nor princes of prophets but 2 thieves. He chose that place for us--among us. He goes down lower than glory, buried among the wicked, but praise God he will become exalted higher than any place imaginable. He doesn't send wrath for the wicked deeds against him but sends his presence to another group on a mountain...120+1=5,000! Moses and Elijah just reflected the Glory of God; the disciples were filled with his glory. Transformed/Transfigured--What's low and internal is far superior to what was high and external. We have highs and lows, but thank God there is good that comes out of it. Peter would have stayed in that place of glory (building shelters) but Pre-Pentecost Peter pails in comparison to post-denial, in-filled Peter! He became a chip off the ole block!
None of us have arrived until we all get there, and let's remember his promise that the least among us shall have prominent places.

Whether going up, down, way down, or way up, let's walk like Jesus did and take as many as we can along the way.
