The Case For Christ–The Film

by Lee Strobel

Between 1979 and 1981, Lee Strobel went on a quest to discover what Christianity was all about. He was an atheist with a wife who had just discovered Christianity and was attending church and Lee felt his marriage crumbling all around him.

So, he set out to discover what the deal was. He spoke with many experts on Biblical history and found that the evidence is overwhelmingly in favor of the Bible being true and Jesus being exactly who He said He was.

The film version is abridged from the print version but still very interesting. He brings in scholars to make the points he learned on his journey–some of them new but many of them the same scholars he went to on his original quest.

My church youth group bought it to use and I viewed it as part of a three-part Bible study. Interesting, enlightening and easy to follow. This presents the case and then asks the question–what about you?

Well worth watching.

Thanls for the tip. I took our youth group to hear Lee Strobel and was surprised how much they got and how much it strengthened their faith. Will check out this film.

We also watched the Case for Faith and the Case for a Creator. I've blogged them but haven't gotten them posted over here as yet--laziness on my part, sorry.

The Case for Faith was good but the Case for a Creator had a lot of science in it that was above many heads (well adult heads--the kids may get it).
