White Cross Christmas in Oklahoma...

Postby David on Sun Dec 28, 2008 10:36 am

Although I frequently read threads BeaconChurches forum, my last (and only previous post) was more than a year ago (12/16/07). I do have a Christmas blessing to share.

A couple of weeks ago, Rev. Dan Cole and Kim Drum, member of FBC in Caney, delivered some White Cross Christmas gifts to Watonga Indian Baptist Church. A week ago today, we had our White Cross Christmas service.

Here's a pictorial account of that service. White Cross Christmas @ Watonga Indian Baptist Church

Thank you, Rev. Cole, Kim Drum, and Caney FBC!

Thanks for taking the time to share the pictures, David. There's something special about pictures of children any time but they are especially precious at Christmas. I think my favorite is the little one sleeping in her stroller. Or the little girl in the burgundy satin dress. Oh, forget it! They're all precious!

Everyone looks good, especially you and Kim. You both appear to have lost a bit of weight since the last picture I saw of you and the last time I saw Kim.

Nice pictoral record.

Yes, I've lost a total of 65 pounds since my last hip replacement surgery in September of '07. We had a weight loss challenge forum over on BL.Com. William is the moderator of that private user forum. I lost 30 pounds this year. Here's last of about 40 accountability charts I made for the group. We're starting a new weight loss forum and I will be joining it, and hopefully will lose 12-15 more pounds.

Thanks for the complimentary comments about photos. One of my favorites is this one. That's Ethan who is one of my sidekicks. He has grown like crazy over the last three years. Compare the preceding photo to this one and see the difference.

Congrats to all of you on the weight loss. I should lose a bit but I'm simply not motivated to do it.

I had forgotten about the private weight loss forum. It's a great idea and I'm glad you are all a part of it. For most people, support and accountability really helps.

Ethan's a cutie! I have a soft spot for kids though.
